Wedding Identity
Fall 2011
Couple getting married in Walt Disney World asked me to create unique and whimsical wedding collateral. They wanted to convey a feeling of playfulness but maintain a classic, romantic vibe. I created characters representing both bride and groom, which will be used throughout wedding branding.

A Design Student's
Guide to Baltimore
Self Initiated Publication
Facilitated through an internship with MICA Graphic Design
Baltimore is an ideal city for young design students to explore. I compiled local landmarks and highlights into an easily accessible publication available to students through MICA Graphic Design. Faculty, alumni and current students submitted the photography within the publication, and the entire project was a great experiment in designing for print, writing, curating and collaborating.
Overlap
A Personal Infographic
As an experiment in graphic displays of statistical information, I took a moment to document all the places I went, colors I wore and recurring thoughts that I had over the course of a week. Each mark corresponds to a category within the key. The density of the marks explains the frequency of the occurrence, and the overlapping marks explain the thoughts I had at certain moments in relation to the place I was or color I was wearing.
Japanese Cloisonné Enamels
Proposed Exhibition
Guide / Souvenir
Proposed Exhibition Guide for the Walter's Art Museum,
My goal was to create a collectible / souvenir for an exhibition of cloisonné vases, vessels and containers.
Using watercolors, I created a surface pattern that highlights recurring colors and shapes from the actual pieces. Metallic details imply the copper inlays of the cloisonné enamels. Painted lettering and hand drawn maps of the exhibition space enhance and enliven the text within the guide.
Manta Moiré
Toy Project
This set of six different laser cut patterns on hand-painted balsa wood plates was designed to display the beauty of moiré patterns. The user places one plate over another and moves them slowly, creating an unpredictable moiré pattern and hopefully enjoying the wonders of Op Art.
